An alumnus from IIT Bombay and IIM Bangalore, Saumil is the Co-Founder, CEO and Managing Director of Sportz Village. Over the last decade, Saumil has been working with schools, federations, policymakers and sponsors for creating opportunities for children to experience the magic of sports. He has personally engaged with more than 1,00,000 children and 50,000 parents.
He is also the recipient of the prestigious “Emerging Entrepreneur Award” by CII and has been recognized as one of the “Top 50 Leaders Influencing Education” by Education World. An ardent sports lover, Saumil continues to follow his passion for sports through regular badminton, karate and golf sessions.
Co-founder and Head, Sportz Village Foundation & Chief Business Officer Corporate
In his current role, Parminder helps leading corporates and brands align their business mandate with measurable social impact – through Sportz Village’s Sport for Change and Experiential Sports Marketing platforms.
Previously, as Head of Business for Sportz Village Schools, Parminder has advised leading educationists, policy makers and development specialists in integrating sport with the learning and development environments for children and youth. Before Sportz Village, Parminder has had another stint as an entrepreneur in the technology space – and has also run leadership roles in mid-sized and large corporate firms in India and abroad. His other interests include running, hiking, golf, long drives – and good parenting.
Operations Head, Sportz Village Foundation
After the realization set in that he will not be making it as a professional footballer or Wimbledon great, Ankit decided to work in an industry that gives sports inclined youth the platform to realize their potential and set them on their way to achieving great things. He leads operations for the Foundation team, driving ‘sport for change’ programs in government schools across India. Ankit graduated from Shri Ram College of Commerce with a Bachelor’s in Economics and earned his MBA in Marketing at MICA.
Manager – New Initiatives, Sportz Village Foundation
Nihit leads Product and Strategy at Sportz Village along with leading a few new initiatives. He loves building successful products from scratch. Nihit is an alumnus of the prestigious IIM Calcutta and Delhi College of Engineering. His personal interests are sports and traveling. He is also an international Racketlon player and participates in World Tour tournaments.
