The primary purpose of this study is to measure the contribution of sporting activities to specific Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) within the context of the our #SportForChange program supported by HCL Foundation. The study used a cohort of 120 students (middle and high school students) as part of our program in schools from Noida and Lucknow. The study revealed that there is a positive correlation in engaging in sporting activities on the targeted SDG goals of students involved in the “Sport for Change” program.

Sportz Village Foundation (SVF) was established in 2017 with the focus of helping underprivileged students in public schools through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) collaborations. Sportz Village Foundation strongly underscores that Sport Education is a comprehensive as well as cost-effective ‘development’ and ‘change’ tool to drive transformation in children/youth, girl child and adolescents.

With a vision to help children overcome learning disabilities in numeracy and STEM subjects, Sportz Village Foundation launched a unique Pilot program to validate the role and effectiveness of play/sport in Computational Thinking (CT) Education.

Decathlon Foundation partnered with Sportz Village Foundation to strengthen and scale their community outreach program. Under this partnership, Sportz Village conducted a study to assess the impact of Decathlon’s existing model of school-based community program and offered recommendations and resources to strengthen it with developmentally appropriate tools and training modules.

Sportz Village concluded a very unique and detailed study for a leading consumer brand to identify and validate the key social barriers constraining girls from pursuing sport.

Sportz Village Foundation, supported by DXC Technology, piloted ‘Race Around India’: An online (non-digital) gamified intervention to engage children in structured physical activity at their homes to keep them safe and healthy.
