Ashok Leyland has partnered with Sportz Village Foundation to implement sports education programs in government schools in and around their manufacturing units in Tamil Nadu with the aim to improve educational outcomes.

Embassy Group

Embassy Group has partnered with Sportz Village Foundation to implement the Sport for Change program in the government schools funded by Embassy Group in Bangalore. The program has been implemented in more than 20 schools with an aim to improve the classroom as well as social behaviour of the children.  The program has impacted more than 6,000 children.

Quess Corp.

Quess Corp. has partnered with Sportz Village Foundation to implement the Sport for Change program in the government schools funded by the organization in Bangalore with the aim to improve educational outcomes as well as increase classroom attendance. The program has been implemented in more than 10 schools and has impacted more than 3,000 children.

DXC Technology

DXC Technology has partnered with Sportz Village Foundation to implement the Sport for Change program in the government schools funded by DXC technology. Along with the objective of improving educational outcomes and classroom behaviour, the program also works towards nurturing the young adults to make them employable. In 2019, the program was implemented in more than 10 government schools in Chennai and had impacted more than 3,000 children. In 2020, the program will be implemented in Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore.

Collins Aerospace

With major focus on health, community development, enhancing classroom level behaviour and social emotional skills as well as improving classroom attendance, Collins Aerospace has partnered with Sportz Village Foundation to implement the Sport for Change program. The program is implemented in the government schools funded by Collins Aerospace in Bangalore. Post the implementation of the Sport for Change program, a 20% improvement has been observed in the fitness levels of the children belonging to the bottom quartile.

HCL Foundation

HCL Foundation had tied up with Sportz Village Foundation to identify and train talented children from schools funded by HCL Foundation for the ‘Sports for social change’ meet that was conducted in 2018. A forty-day coaching program was conducted for more than 500 children and cluster teams were formed for Noida and Lucknow.

Sports Authority of Gujarat

Sportz Village has tied up with the Sports Authority of Gujarat to implement structured sports & physical education program in government schools of Gujarat. The program includes daily in-school structured sports sessions coupled with an intense after-school training program.

Laureus

Sportz Village Foundation conducted ‘Sports For Development’ (S4D) workshops for program managers of the Laureus ‘Sport for Good City Delhi’ initiative in Seemapuri. The S4D workshop focused on capacity building of the program managers of the Laureus initiative with respect to the curriculum/pedagogy, infrastructure, resource management and best practices in S4D.

Thomson
Reuters

Thomson Reuters partnered with Sportz Village Foundation to introduce Sport Education curriculum across a cluster of schools in the Bengaluru region. Sportz Village Foundation also conducts training programs for employee volunteers from Thomson Reuters who will act as mentors in respective schools to engage with children through lesson plans and activities.

Various State Governments

Sportz Village’s vocational training program in partnership with various state governments was developed with an aim to make individuals employable in the field of sports and physical education. Sportz Village is currently working with several schools in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Himachal Pradesh under the centrally sponsored scheme of “Vocationalisation of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.”
decathlon

Decathlon

Decathlon partnered with Sportz Village Foundation to launch in-school Physical Education programs in schools in Bengaluru and Delhi NCR with an aim to ensure the smooth return of 2000+ students (grades 1 to 8) to schools and improve fitness, academic and social-emotional levels of the children. The program also aimed to engage Decathlon employee volunteers who trained by the Sportz Village Foundation team, will implement the Sportz Village structured sports program and curriculum in the partner schools with continued capacity building, execution support, monitoring, and impact assessments by SVF.

The Muthoot Group

The Muthoot Group, supported the launch of ‘Sports For Change’ programs across a selected cluster of government schools in the Bangalore region. Through this partnership, the Sportz Village Foundation baseline sports education program and structured sports curriculum will be introduced and implemented at government schools covering 1200+ children from Grade 1 to 5 with an objective to improve fitness, academic and social-emotional levels of children.
